Homecoming Week Schedule Update Due to Weather

As we continue to monitor the weather forecast for Friday afternoon and evening, we have been in communication with Faith Academy regarding this week's Homecoming football game. After careful consideration, both schools have agreed to move the varsity football game from Friday night to Thursday night at 7:00 PM.

 

We understand schedule changes can be challenging; however, decisions of this nature require significant advance planning and coordination among multiple groups. Adjusting a varsity football game involves coordinating campus safety and traffic personnel, marching band, cheerleaders, referees and game officials, communication with the Alabama High School Athletic Association, concession stand operations, and the many logistical considerations that accompany Homecoming week activities. Making this decision early helps ensure that all necessary personnel are available and that we can provide the safest and best possible experience for our students, families, and guests.

 

While this adjustment affects some of our Homecoming activities, we are pleased that many of our traditions will continue with only minor modifications.
