Sophomores Harvest Citrus for Food Bank

St. Paul’s tenth graders spent the morning of Thursday December 12^th harvesting various types of citrus at orchards belonging to Mr. Boatman and Mr. Bramlett.  The students worked with chaperones Lisa McDonough, Scott McDonald, Tim Huber, Noah Nelson, David Armstrong, Dan Drum, Angelica Howard, Christy Logan, Marty Smisson, Laura McGee and Leslie Lerner to pick satsumas, navel oranges, blood oranges, and grapefruit.  Prodisee Food Pantry picked up about 2000 pounds of fruit, about 1500 pounds was delivered to the Love All food pantry, and Mr. Boatman and Mrs. Lerner delivered about 500 pounds to local churches.
