Second Grade Packs Treats and Toiletries for Homeless Veterans

 

Leslie Lerner organized a holiday packing event to bring holiday cheer to Eagles Landing, a residential facility for homeless veterans.  Second graders came two classes at a time to M118 to pack festive bags of treats and toiletries, paint gingerbread houses, make candy cane reindeer ornaments, and make a bejeweled ornament.  The bags and ornaments were boxed up and delivered to Eagles Landing by Mrs. Lerner and some special elves, Allison, Isaac, and Levi Starr.
