Mrs. Adams’ Second Graders Pack Items for Veterans
Mrs. Adams brought her hardworking, enthusiastic second grade students to M118 on Friday, March 20th to pack items for the men at Eagles Landing, a housing facility for homeless veterans. The students had made beautiful Easter eggs, bunny, and cross tissue crafts in class to deliver with their Friday items. They began by decorating a refrigerator Easter Egg craft, then packed a small bag of toiletries and a small bag of Easter snacks for each veteran. Mrs. Carly McCulloch was a most helpful assistant. Laura McGee delivered the items along with some food for the food pantry and seeds for the raised garden beds at Eagles Landing.
