Third Graders Celebrate Earth Day

 

St. Paul’s entire third grade class spent the morning of Thursday, April 30^th celebrating Earth Day by learning about recycling and making a poster, decorating pots and planting seeds, making a pencil holder from a recycled can, and making an Earth Day necklace and card.  Many thanks to all the helpful volunteers:  Allison Starr, Allie Fuquay, Nicki Barnickel, Elizabeth Gregory, Kate Pearson, and Becca Estabrook who worked along with teachers Mrs. McLeod, Mrs. Mullins, Mrs. Howard, Mrs. Potts, Mrs. Fasanello, and Mrs. Guy.  The morning ended with a special surprise visit from Mobile’s own Mayor Cheriogotis.
