Students Make and Deliver Sensory Boards for Callahan School

St. Paul’s students Lula Payne, Harris Fraser, Riley Childress, Lacy Bradley, Bo Ladner, Forrest Williams, Ramez Hasan, Tolly McCall, and Annie Boteler spent study hall time making sensory boards for visually and hearing-impaired children in several Mobile County public schools.  Working with mobility specialist Amy Hess, the students prepared boards and hot glued items of different textures, colors, and sounds onto the boards.  On Wednesday March 6, several of the students went to deliver the boards to Callahan School for the Deaf and Blind where they were able to tour the facility and meet a few of the students.
