Service Leadership Veterans Project at Eagles Landing

 

On Tuesday April 9^th, teachers Leslie Lerner and David Armstrong took the 22 members of this year’s Service Leadership class to Eagles Landing, a housing facility for homeless veterans.  The students spent an hour doing an incredible job of clearing our 20 raised beds and planting spring vegetables.  They also got to meet a most appreciative veteran who hopes to harvest from the garden.
