Eclipse Glasses Collection for South American Students

 

Cloudy skies made the eclipse viewing in Mobile on April 9^th a disappointment, but all was not lost!   Teacher Elizabeth Campbell informed the Community Service department about a program to collect and reuse the glasses for students in South America.  They will have a full eclipse in August 2024.  With huge help from Tyler Kerns to collect and students Janie Ford and Blake Wilbur to sort, 735 pairs of glasses were mailed on Friday, April 12^th to be processed for reuse.
